IHOP

A cozy little diner, with a kind and mysterious staff. They Serve pancakes very well. Almost too well. My favorite is the steak and eggs. Never have I gone to this restaurant and been dissatisfied. Pros: Open 24 Hour, Good Food, Quick Service Cons: I dont work there, yet more

Horrible! Horrible!\r \r Worst service possible. I usually go to breakfast/dinner with my wife and friends. Managers and staff are incompetent during the night shift. You can usually catch them either smoking or chatting away while the patrons wait for a refill or any service. On two occassions I had to get up my self and actually serve my self soda and napkins. That did it for me and no longer will I visit an IHOP. I highly recommend to go an experience Foxies in Glendale for Breakfast, AWESOME MANAGER AND STAFF GREAT FOOD SERVICE, MENU, PRICES, ETC. Generally speaking, IHOPs are all created equal. However, one would think that in the city where the breakfast giant houses it's Headquarters, the BEST versions of the restaurant would be shining stars. Unfortunately that is not the case. Yes, this one on Glendale Ave off the freeway is fairly original in it's design. Sadly, however, it's definitely not friendly to those larger, wider bodies their food tends to create. This particular restaurant has almost all booth seating, and the tables are pretty close together. The aisles are narrow and there's very little waiting area. Needless to say...it can get a little crowded. More often than not, the only waiting area is outside in the parking lot. Of course...we all put up with that to have fluffy pancakes with butter and boysenberry syrup. We are creatures of our society. more

It's more of a ""compact"" layout than cramped, however. Ihop is a Great place for pancakes AND Boysenberry syrup(of course!) This one is no exception, thankfully! They do a fine waffle w/ or w/o fruit, but the t-bone is nothing to write home about. (@least @this spec. loc.) Good service + sp_c & span! (Did you know: there are no suasage patties in japan?) This IHOP is a strange, secret galaxy of friendly servers. They're even great when it's Sunday and a jillion people show up for french toast and sausages. I recommend afternoons on the weekends, and don't be surprised if they give you extra treats (warm rolls, garlic cheese bread!) with your meal, too. Value, niceness, and fast eats.
