Generally speaking, IHOPs are all created equal. However, one would think that in the city where the breakfast giant houses it's Headquarters, the BEST versions of the restaurant would be shining stars. Unfortunately that is not the case. Yes, this one on Glendale Ave off the freeway is fairly original in it's design. Sadly, however, it's definitely not friendly to those larger, wider bodies their food tends to create. This particular restaurant has almost all booth seating, and the tables are pretty close together. The aisles are narrow and there's very little waiting area. Needless to say...it can get a little crowded. More often than not, the only waiting area is outside in the parking lot. Of course...we all put up with that to have fluffy pancakes with butter and boysenberry syrup. We are creatures of our society.
