ICE at Santa Monica

On 1/32/10 at around 10pm, I went Santa Monica for a casual date and found this ice rink place and thought that I would have a nice and fun time there with my girlfriend. The admission (including rental) was only $10 and the place looked really cool. But rude and unfriendly service broke out when they transacted my credit card and they gave a receipt for me to sign so I did. Then a ""rude"" lady told me that it has rejected(?) the transaction. But what did I just signed??? So I gave her my other credit card and at the same time I asked her if I can keep the other receipt that has my sign on it. But she refused to give that over to me, which I or anybody couldn't understand. That's how the argument broke out and then she got very rude and told me that she was not going to argue about this. Was I asking a wrong question??? I think I was only asking a VALID question. Now I just have to watch out for my next credit card bill to see if they have charged me TWICE. Two thumbs WAY DOWN. We have done this several times, and they are the best... no time limit, as far as I am concerned, music and outdoors, plus is right around the corner from everything you need... nice cup of tea or coffee, or some good old shopping. Staff is nice too.. :-) Pros: no time limit more
