We took our family dog and best friend Roscoe of 11 years to this so called vet. We rushed Roscoe to these people on July 4th, 2013 when we noticed his stomach was very swolen. When we got there they immediately did an x-ray and told us that he had GDV or ""twisted gut"". We hoped that they loved animals enough to fix him since the tools were right there but instead got told that unless we had $6000.00 in our back pocket that we could take him home and let him suffer until he died. Our only option was to say good by to Roscoe. We had Roscoe peacefully put to sleep that day, it was totally unnecessary for him to pass away when, if they were like most vets that love animals and work out payment plans, they could have saved our dog. These people are money hogs and could care less what the outcome of your pet is unless you walk in waving money around. I left without my dog and my wallet $800.00 lighter that day. I guess the ""we are so sorry for your loss"" card i got in the mail really meant ""thanks for the $800.00 sucker"". If your dog is suffering and in need of emergency attention i would highly advise that you find a vet that loves animals more than a quick buck.
