Best Sushi! 3/19/2012

This place is great, we will definitely be coming back! My husband and I were on our honeymoon and decided to look for reviews for a good sushi restaurant. I Love Sushi had many great reviews we couldn't resist. I believe we went on a Tuesday night and figured the place wouldbe kind of slow, however when we arrived, we were lucky to find a place at the bar! The place was packed and although were also entertaining large parties, offered great service, and incredible sushi. The names of the various rolls were quite entertaining, and a conversation piece to say the least. Although we live in California, this is definitely our favorite sushi spot, and will be making a trip back out soon! more

The Seven Hills Local's Favorite 5/16/2010

This is the one we always come back to, because it is creative (ok - i get that Ryan's Roll is not REAL Japanese, but get over it), service is fabulous, they remember what we like and where we like to sit. Yes, we are regulars, yet we also sample the roughly 14,312 competitors in the Las Vegas valley, and this is the winner. Setting aside the racist shots at the owners of other reviewers, they are wonderful people. \r \r Try the Ryan's Roll - really - I am a fan of real sushi (for 30 years now) and sashimi, but this roll is worth taking the leftovers home.\r Pros: Food is fabulous and creative - Service amazing Cons: Crowded if you are trying for the sushi bar - my favorite sp more

THE WORST...SERVICE, FOOD, OH, & I GOT SICK!!! 5/4/2010

This will be the last time I ever go to a KOREAN run ""fake"" Japanese restaurant. What was I thinking. I walked in, and they spoke a few Japanese words, and they WERE WEARING THE JAPANESE FLAG HEADBANDS. I really thought, for a second, that they were the real thing. Until you get the food. Wow...not even close to Japanese style or taste. Imagine that. Koreans trying to be Japanese. Not even close. Their attitudes suck, and their breath stinks. Stick with mondoo and kimchee.Get a life, Koreans! Don't attempt to be Japanese. Pros: The bathroom was close to my seat Cons: Uh...everything! more

Korean Garbage, with mayo, of course!! 5/4/2010

Korean's have been fooling the public for years with their ""imitation"" Japanese. They even wear a Japanese headband, and speak the few Japanese words as you enter and exit.\r Do not be fooled by the Korean scam!!\r Osaka is #!, and always will be. Pros: nothing Cons: Oh, the food, service more

Amazing Sushi and fun atmosphere!! 4/13/2010

First I would like to say I am amazed by some of the extremely emotional negative reviews. I think I would have to agree that some of those reviews are quite possibly coming from competitors. I Love Sushi is fantastic. I have been going to this restaurant for 5 years. I have been all over town and on the strip to other places, and absolutely NO ONE compares. It is true that it gets loud and lively in there. If you would like to avoid most of that, just don't go on their busiest days which are Friday and Saturday. My husband and I went to Australia last year and thought for sure we would have superior sushi there....NOT EVEN CLOSE TO I LOVE SUSHI! Maybe the fun atmosphere isn't for everyone, but I love it and will never waste my time going anywhere else again! Pros: Great sushi, fun and personable sushi chefs Cons: Lines out the door on Friday and Saturdays! more

Excellent. Excellent! 3/1/2010

Fake Japanese restaurant 2/23/2010

If anybody thinks this is good Japanese restaurant, you have never ever been to a real Japanese restaurant. I am sorry, but this place is Korean restaurant serving Japanese dishes, by the way, I love Korean food. \r Sushi - rice is too big and the fish too thin.\r Tempura - too much batter and bad oil.\r Rich - cheap low quality rice.\r Miso soup - maybe instant.\r Green tea - very low grade.\r Sushi rice - badly seasoned.\r \r More power to them, places is always full and everyone is having a good time.\r Cons: your being con'd more

A good place to go if you don't have taste 2/18/2010

The food was so-so, the atmosphere was immature and the interior decor and outfits of the servers contrived. I was there with two friends for a quick bite out during the workweek but could barely converse because of the noise level, which was only worsened by the guy in a kamikazi costume banging a gong and shouting ""I LOVE SUSHI"" in the middle of the restaurant before people drink a sake-bomb, which occurred multiple times over the evening. On top of that, I got a screaming headache when I returned home, the cause of which is likely the extremely high amount of MSG they put in their food. There are enough other sushi places in Vegas that I wouldn't waste your time trying this place out. Pros: inexpensive Cons: immature, fake atmosphere; MSG in food; loud more

Great Name - Not-so-great food 8/7/2009

For anyone who has ever been to Japan please do not go here. The atmosphere is completely fake with all of the waitresses wearing silk robes that I assume are supposed to be similar to a ukata or a kimono. The service was awful. Apparently our server was having a bad day and she didn't want anyone to know about it except for everyone who was in the resteraunt. It was extremely loud with dishes and plates clanking everywhere. I felt like I was in a Chilis or the Outback Steakhouse but that was not where I wanted to go. i wanted to sit down and have a nice Japanese meal. Oh, I almost forgot. If you like authentic Japanese food do not trapse through the doors of this establishment. It is American-Japanese sushi with all of those bizzare ""rolls"" and other dishes to include Korean, Chinese, and even some from Southeast Asia. Not good, not friendly, and not worth your time. Pros: name and location Cons: Food, service, atmosphere more

REAL HONEST REVIEW ALL BULLs$#@ ASIDE!!! 5/23/2009

Im 22yrs old - ive eaten at an array of sushi joints in town, and as much as I wanted to find a better place than I LOVE SUSHI, i could not succeed. The sushi is fresh and the combinations are unique - you may also create your own sushi rolls by requesting your recipe to the ""chefs"". The 1 star reviews are fake and most likely made by a desperate competitor who's sushi is apparently far insuperior. Nice enviroment, friendly staff, small communication barrier. Should be a great experience if your not a moron!! for the people w/ complaints you were most likely the issue, being in the hospitality industry, and as we all know, some people lack common knowledge, yes even you rich fools that think your the s%#*. back to the sushi: TRY IT OUT -- about $5-$13 per roll. \r im not into fish eggs so I cannot comment on the quality of that. im headed to I LOVE SUSHI (SERIOUSLY) \r note: i have not tried sushi restaraunts on the strip Pros: They start u out w/ a cucumber salad Cons: possible wait time due to how good the place is more

Excellent 3/24/2009

I really enjoyed the sushi here and the atmosphere was cool. My friend didn't enjoy his food as much, but he's not a fan of sushi in general. Test_test_test Pros: The food more

Want really bad service? 12/5/2008

Went for lunch. My second time there. Waited 25 minutes for one roll. Waitress said there was a miscommunication between her & the chef. Asked to have some food boxed up. Waitress took the plate & never came back with the box of left overs. She said she threw it away. Manager said the best they could do is $2.00 off the bill. Oh, and I overheard the next booth complaining & wanting to see the manager.\r Never again Momo!!!!!! Cons: Worst service ever! more

Best poke in town! 10/29/2008

You can't beat most of their food but if you're from da Island and are craving some good tuna poke - I Love Sushi's tuna poke is the best I've had in town! Pros: Everything more

Good food and ambience 9/30/2008

I really enjoyed the food. I like the ambience as well. My hubby didn't enjoy his food as much but he had grilled chicken and veggies. more

No Zatoichi here 3/2/2008

I am sure the Itamae spent many years training in Japan, though unfortunately his training must have been for some other profession, a blind masseur perhaps? Zatoichi would have shown more finesse cutting fish with a katana.\r \r The tepan shrimp was so salty our mouths burned. The beef in the niku udon, though thinly sliced, was so tough we wondered if the itamae had lost his shoe in the battle with the salmon. The salmon was definitely dead though, nothing could endure that many knife wounds and live.\r \r After some searching we found the rice hidden under the huge slabs of butchered fish. It too was dead, mummified even. The tuna seemed more alive... though not in a good way.\r \r What made the whole experience worse, other than the fact that we had been craving sushi, was that the management?s response - after we sent back the shrimp and explained that the rest of the meal was very poor - was not an apology but rather a question: Why didn?t you complain sooner? The truth is that this was probably the first time I have ever felt compelled to return a dish and I am not entirely sure of the etiquette. When the waitress asked how everything else was I felt obliged to tell all. It was such a relief to let it all out!\r \r They didn?t charge us for the tepan shrimp or the leather in the udon. We left in search of quality sushi to drown our sorrows.\r \r Avoid at all costs. \r Cons: Food more

i love this place 12/13/2007

we eat there a lot..i have never had a bad experience there.. i am not sure about waitresses , i always sit at the bar and try to only order from Jack.. he will remember you! and alway will make you happy. we rarely pay for drinks and get offered free orange desert at the end! not expensive at all.. my fovorite things there is Screaming , Japanese pizza, or Tastes like my exgirlriend. i love the funny names.. anyways , one time we came in i was having a severe panic attack Jack asked me if i was ok. then kept making jokes untill i felt better.. got me my food right away.. oh yeag , the food is sooooooooo fast!! \r anyways, my favorite sushi place anywhere!! Pros: everything! i dream about this place!! Cons: kinda far form strip more

Horrible, Disgusting & Bad Service 11/30/2007

I ordered on the phone. but cancelled at last minute, and the lady on the phone grunted in disgust.\r I had an emergency. So after my emergency, 2 hours laster. I went to I love sushi and ordered.\r a young girl took my order, i tried to explain what i wanted, i waited 20 minutes, then asked if my food was ready and within minutes she handed it to me. so i was being ignored for who knows how long.\r Anyways, my order was wrong. They put about 1 lb of imitation grab on my order and it cost me 20 bucks.\r My order was basically rice and fake crab and fried shrimp. What i got was basically the same thing you can make yourself. Anyways, it made me sick. I do not recommend this place to anyone, Stay away.\r You really get what you pay for. BTW, i heard people saying inside this was the best in town?\r To my knowledge the best in town was ""Sushi-Mon"" but that is no more because the owner sold it.\r But i eat at Inaka. It's all you can eat and they would never ever give their customers 1lb of fake imitation grab all over their sushi. \r \r \r Cons: Service, Snobby & Rude, Disgusting Food, Made me sick, Not fresh more

Horrible food - made us sick 10/5/2007
