A warm feeling to do good 1/13/2006

As posted previously, this organization is outstanding and they do a tremendous amount of good for San Diego. Many times a year they have a clean up day on the weekend and companies and volunteers come from all parts of San Diego. Everybody has a great time participating and being on a "team". It may be work and picking up trash and debris but it's a fun time. I've volunteered along with many of my friends over the years and I've never heard one complaint from anyone. It's fun and something you'll feel good about doing. Not only for San Diego but yourself. more

Who doesn’t Love a Clean San Diego 8/20/2005

This group has been around for ever, 1954 to be exact. This group of people does amazing things for us here in San Diego. Over the years they have preformed presentations to 100's of thousands of school kids around the county. If you were are around in the late 70's early 80's sure you can recall the blue and orange stickers everywhere. I have dedicated my time and I encourage you to do the same, every little bit help. Big round of applause for this fine organization! more

I REALLY love a clean sd! 8/16/2005

ILACSD is a great company that allows you to adopt beache sin San Diego. The yprovide all the cleaning spupplies neccesary and rent "grabbers", that when they are returned, your deposit is refunded. They are a great company, and are not the PETA-like type (extremists). All they care about is keeping the beaches clean. All the reps are very nice and willing to help out. By adopting a beach, you agree to three clean-ups a year. When the last one is done, you report the stats and it gets published with the overall statistics. I definatly recommend these people if you are planning on adopting a beach, or keeping the beaches clean. more
