Hyde Park Photography & Video

My wife and I hired these crooks for our wedding in 2008. They were very communicative up front (before they had our money). The day of our wedding a stranger shows up at our house and says that Eva is sick and she's covering the wedding. Eva never even called. The woman they contracted was actually very nice and we weren't at all disappointed...until they posted our album online for us to view and we discovered that almost every single picture of our reception was missing.\r \r According to the story they came up with, the photographers memory card was corrupted and the pictures were lost. They agreed to give us a bigger and more elaborate wedding album using pictures they had and ones from friends/family only to never deliver the album. Months went by and we finally got an email from Eva saying times were tough and business was sparse (like that's my fault) but that she would get our album to us in a month. That was back in 2009. Thank God the photographer had kept the photos from our wedding. She provided us the cds and we were able to make our own wedding albums. If these crooks are still in business, DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING SCAMMED. more

Has anyone actually received their wedding album? My wedding was almost 3 years ago and I still have not received my wedding album or wedding pictures. We received our wedding video in 2008. Bob did a fantastic job with it. However, our wedding album has been a painfully slow process to complete and receive. The photographs were beautiful, but Eva will not return my phone calls and the 2 email replies that I have received in the last 7 months (last one in Feb. '10) promised that she was sending my album to the printers and would be mailing it to me in a few weeks. I'm still waiting. Eva has not responded to any of my emails since then. Has anyone heard anything from Eva or Bob recently? \r \r I'm very saddened by this and it breaks my heart every time I think about all of our wedding pictures of our beautiful day that I may never see again or the wedding album that I may never have to remember our day. \r \r Eva, Bob are you out there?\r \r Pros: Eva & Bob are very talented & create beautiful work. Hyde Park Photo and Video is a wonderful company to work with!\r \r I was referred to Eva and Bob by a friend (who was a beyond picky bride!). I felt very assured that she had done all of her homework and therefore took some of the burden off of me! I knew after seeing her pictures that I had my photographers. However, I still composed a huge list of questions for my first meeting.. Eva met with me, at a time convenient for me, and patiently answered my questions in full detail (she was very patient with both my mother-in-law and me!).\r \r Deciding to have Hyde Park Photo shoot my wedding was one of the most confident decisions I made in the planning process. \r \r Eva and Bob showed up to the wedding on time and the fun started there! They were never in the way and truly seemed to add to the fun of the wedding! My husband and I loved the way the pictures came out (they shot over 1,000!). Every interaction has been first-rate! They listened to what we wanted and produced beautiful work at a very reasonable price. When my sister gets married, she won?t have to worry about the photography. Thank you Hyde Park Photography & Video.  You went above & beyond your responsibility as photographers to see that everything went perfect on our wedding day.  You showed compassion & understanding during times of stress, & helped calm our nerves when things did not seem to be going as planned.  Simply put, you pampered us.  During photo shoot, you held my bouquet When my arms grew tired. You found water and a chair so I could rest while arranging Group photos.  You bustled  my dress on several occasions even though it was not your responsibility.  When I needed to speak to someone you would find them.  These are just a few examples of how kind, thoughtful, & motivated this photography team is.  They really do care, and it shows in their work.  If I only knew what other services came with their photography, I would have never hired a coordinator!  They ran the show without being bossy.  Their experience was visible the second They walked in the room.  They always had answers to the unexpected twists of a wedding day & knew when, & how things were going to happen.  Their attention to detail is what makes their service so special.  Oh, & Did I mention the photography was awesome, and the albums are beautiful!  Thank you for being at our wedding. My husband and I were thrilled with the quality and service of Hyde Park Photography and Videography. We were very impressed by the amount of work and planning the owners put into our wedding days. Yes, that is right, days. We had two days of ceremonies filled with both Sikh and Catholic traditions. The owners hired additional crew to capture both events. Not a single memory was missed. The owners made it a top priority to capture every single detail of the wedding. They were prompt, polite, and a joy to work with. Capturing the many details of our weddings was no easy task, but the wonderful people at Hyde Park Photography and Videography made it look so simple. The memories made that day will always be a treasure to me, and thanks to Hyde Park, I can share those treasures with others through my amazing wedding album (which I absolutely LOVE) and my captivating video (which I absolutely LOVE as well). It took months to plan and when the day arrived it seemed to pass so quickly. We were pre-occupied with how everyone else was enjoying the festivities that it was not until the reception when you gave us the opportunity to truly appreciate what a momentous day this was for us. Not only had you done an incredible job with our picture montage, you amazed us with a highlight video from our wedding ceremony. You enabled those who were unable to attend the church ceremony to feel as if they were there. Your video brought back the tears of joy and the laughter of happiness to everyone at the reception. So many of our guests, even the wait staff at the hotel approached us letting us know how much they enjoyed such a beautiful video. It's no joke! What these 2 artists created for us was nothing short of a storey book wedding! We hired this company to handle the video/photography portion of our destination wedding strictly by recommendations from others and by viewing their work on line. We were extremely satisfied by all aspects of the process, from start to finish, we were made to feel like we were their number one priority. We were not familiar with the Orlando area and they were helpful in so many ways (even with things unrelated to video/photography). What more can I say...You couldn't put the most important day of your lives in any better hands!! AKA Hyde Park Photography. Owned by a husband and wife (team of only the two of them) the Videography work was FABULOUS the photography was average. I hired them for my wedding and will unfortunately stop there. I am a big fan of customer service and when I spend over 5 grand for a photographer for my wedding day I want you to return my phone calls. I almost let them keep my deposit and went with another photographer two weeks before my wedding. If it hadn't been so close to my wedding I probably would have. Them not returning phone calls - ever, and needing to call them several times before you get them will most likely make them have a very short lived business. People wise they are very nice but when you are talking about thousands of dollars you expect a returned phone call at least within that week. My wife and I used this service and it was the biggest mistake of our wedding!!!\r Please I assure you if you want to have a beautiful wedding to remember do not use this company.\r They have horrible communication problem.... You can never get a hold of them and they will never return your phone calls we went as far as driving all the way to their business and it was locked... However we did find a note stuck to their door by someone else saying ""Please call us back we feel like were beeing scammed, you will not return our phone calls... our wedding is in 2 days we've already paid you half the money"" I just don't want to see anyone else get let down by this company.\r \r madfour more
