I stay here when I go to Buffalo Grove for work so I get a really good Corporate rate. The rooms are big two room suites - very comfortable. Great showers/bathrooms. I've only been to the restaurant downstairs for breakfast but it was good - standard for a hotel restaurant. It's also right off of the highway which is convenient. more

Nice Place...Poor service. 8/27/2006

Stayed here for a weekend. Reserved a room w/ 2 beds for 4 people and 4 Great America Tickets (good overall deal). We got there about 9pm. They did have any 2 bed rooms left, so we had to get 1 king and a pull out sofa. Room was nice and clean, but small for 4 people. Parking lot was too small, had to park in next parking lot over. There was no free breakfast. I know that is a little petty, but even lower quality hotels have a free continental breakfast. Somebody else went to the bar and ordered drinks on our room number. I would think they would have a way of verifying that a person was not lying before charging it to their room. The manager took off the charge, not a big deal but it should have been avoided all together. When we were leaving I asked for a luggage cart to be brought up to the room. After 20 min of waiting we just carried everything. So overall...the place is very nice. Beautifully decarated, but the service left much to be desired. Pros: Clean, nicely decarated Cons: Very poor service and extras more

Mid-priced hotel 2/8/2006

This hotel is very nice inside, clean, and well-kept. We asked for a corner king (we had previously stayed in one) and were told by the person at the front desk that the rooms were all the same and we were wrong. Whatever. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the pillows weren't too fluffy but the room was fine, everything worked, liked the TV that swiveled from the sitting area to the bedroom. The food at the bar isn't too bad - we didn't get to try the brunch. more
