Super Accomodating, Friendly & Clean 8/5/2014

We were in town for the yearly Soccer Showcase. In-between games our team needed a place to cool down and get something to eat. At around 10:30am our team, along with at least 2 other teams, 'invaded' this store. With not enough places to sit in the cafe, the HyVee staff brought out 3 banquet tables and chairs and set them up in front of the food counters and the chinese area (with a sign reading open from 11-2) opened early to serve lunch. The waitress staff was very helpful. The store itself was also very clean and had good prices on other items we purchased for the rest of the weekend. We will be back next year! more

Hy-Vee Grocery Store 12/28/2005

I went to two grocery stores the other day: Hy-Vee and Super Wal-Mart. What a difference. Super Wal-Mart might have slightly lower prices on some items, but the service you get at Hy-Vee is ten times better. Within one minute of walking into the store, two different people greeted me and asked if I needed any help. In almost every aisle, someone said hello and smiled, and sometimes asked again if I needed help. They have a fantastic deli; one of the best around. They also have a very good meat department (full-service). Their products are fresh and reasonably priced, and I will probably just go here for my groceries from now on. more
