Great Entertainment for Little Money 8/19/2005

I took a gang of four girls to a Husky Gymnastics meet and we all had a great time. The admission price is very low (around $5) and that gets you a few hours of great athletic entertainment. At all times there are four separate events happening on the floor. We did not have assigned seats so we were free to wander from place to place, wherever afforded the best vantage point. We all came away very impressed by the caliber of the competition. more

Flipping for Husky Gymnastics 8/17/2005

There are only 4 or 5 home meets, but each is packed with amazing gymnastics and usually at least a few former elite and olympic athletes. The tickets are really cheap, and it's great to see these women having fun after all those years of pressure cooker elite level training and competition. And little girls in the audience get to see women at healthy weights perform a sport they love and be just as amazing as ever. more
