I loved this little restaurant. It's one of the last places to eat when you're driving down, and it's worth the effort.
It's tucked away, and it can actually be a bit difficult to find. My only complaints stem from the location, because when you're leaving, you can only turn right, so you have to go down and pull a u-turn to get going back.
I was on a short vacation to St. Augustine, staying at the beach, and the second night I picked out this place for dinner on a whim.
The atmosphere is impressively varied. There's a patio outside with tables, and I think there were heaters (though it was summer and unnecessary to have so I'm not sure) and what looked like a well-stocked bar, which you could either sit at the outside and get drinks, or inside and get drinks, and of course get food to anywhere. inside, the restaurant is split into two sections, a calmer area with tables, ranging from two-tops to I think the biggest being a six-seater. To the left is an area with games, a basketball game, air hockey, arcade games, that sort of deal. I was seated in there the first night I went, but no one was playing on them so it wasn't an issue at all; but I imagine it could get noisy.
The food was excellent! The first night I got a sampler of chicken wings, and there was a veritable plethora of flavors, and they actually encourage mixing the flavors, so there's literally hundreds of flavor possibilities. The wings came quickly and were very hot, and delicious.
But if you're only coming once, and they still have them, you HAVE to get one of the currasco steaks. I suggest the lime one, I got that the second night, and it was perfection itself. My mouth is already watering at the memory, it was cooked impeccably and the spices were delicious, and the lime set off the spicy tinge. One of the best steaks I've had, no lie.
Also, you definitely need to make room for an order of the sweet-potato fries. Don't pass them up; you'll regret it, they come sprinkled with a bit of confectioner's sugar, and with a syrup-pepper sauce, they'll make your head spin.
I really can't think of a single negative thing to say about the experience of the restaurant. The waitresses were attractive, friendly, and knew the menu well. The food was well above par for the average pricing. If you're not into the games, you can always just ask to sit on the other side, or on the patio. They've thought of everything, don't pass up this smashing little restaurant if you're in St. Augustine.
Pros: Great food, great service, not a single bad thing to say
Cons: might have trouble finding it; can only turn right leaving
