I have been undergoing treatment with Dr. Wilcox for a little over a month now. When I first went to this clinic I was afraid that I was going to be treated like a "patient" and shooed in and out as fast as possible {like I have experienced with OBGYN's}. Oh how wrong I was. Dr. Wilcox has answered any and every questions that I could give him. He is very open with all of the possible outcomes of certain procedures but is very tactful about it. I genuinely feel that Dr. Wilcox, Ana, and Saba care about me as a person and have been encouraging as I have gone through the rough patches of the IVF treatment and excited with me when we discovered yesterday that I am now pregnant.\r This is my first try with IVF and Dr. Wilcox helped make this possible for me. I only have one ovary, yet Dr. Wilcox was able to get 13 eggs, 8 of which fertilized. \r Because of this place, my dreams of having a family are finally going to come true. Miserable awful clinic, waste of money, waste of time!! Factory style of ivf cycles with very little individual attention!! We had such a horrible horrible experience with Dr. Wilcox and will not recommend anyone to this doctor. more

There is a doctor in the Encino office Tourgeman. He really has no idea of what he is talking about and his staff is equally rude. I would not recommend HRC to anyone seeking infertility treatment, all they know is how to bill patients. Exceptionally rude and condescending .\r \r Please do not waste time at this doctor or facility more

Dr.Wilcox has made a dream into a reality for us. Our experience with our Ivf was an emotional roller coaster. Dr.Wilcox guided us through every step of the way. His words were always so encouraging . He always took the time to explain every detail of this process. He made us feel very comfortable with all the procedures that took place. I am glad to say we are six months pregnant and happilly expecting two baby boys!! Dr . Our doctor and the staff were very helpful throughout and always answered our many questions, both in person and by returning phone calls. All the staff were knowledgeable and organized and it seemed like they all had a lot of experience. Our doctor was kind, but most importantly had a lot of experience with a situation like ours and explained everything to us so that we could be informed before deciding on our treatment. Also, the office is beautiful - not that important, but it was nice to be in a comfortable and clean place. The office even gave us a baby gift when we got pregnant! more

HRC was great during a hard time for us. Everyone really cared about helping us through the difficult process of infertility treatment. Our doctor, the nurses and even the other staff were warm and caring. They are organized and knowledgeable and we owe our baby to them! Thanks HRC. more

Dr. Tourgeman (Dr. T) and staff showed me and my hubby so much compassion. Dr. T is such a kind and caring person. He laughs at my corny jokes and makes me laugh when I want to cry. He has given me the tools I need to get through a very hard time in our life. He explains every detail of my treatment and never gets annoyed when I ask a million questions. I would recommend HRC and Dr. T (West LA) to anyone in need of reproductive help. I thank God for them. more

My experience with infertility has been stressful and emotional. After two year of trying with no success, my husband and I finally made the decision to meet with a specialist. We scheduled our consultation with HRC and met with Dr. Wilcox. His explanation of the process gave us a sense of relief. For my IUI and IVF cycles, Elizabeth and Saba made sure that I understood my instructions and they made it very easy for us during the process. They took the time to answer all of my questions, even if it was absurd. They were very compassionate and understanding. Both of the girls were sensational, I couldn?t have asked for a greater team. we worked with Dr. Wilcox who i have to honestly say was a Fabulous Doctor. great knowledge and verbal communication by himself as well as his staff. every time i spoke with him in person or over the phone he was beyond helpful and i never feared asking a question. he treated me with amazing respect and gratitude. I just want to post in reference to Joanna S's comments. I have used HRC and in particular Dr.Potter twice in 2008. I found that his nurse Lori was extremely easy to contact via email, and her emails were concise and thorough. I was an international patient, so this was extremely convenient. Lori also called when she said she was going to, and was very easy to talk to. Lori drove me back to my hotel after my transfer in cycle 2!! Dr.Potter also placed me on the Long Lupron protocol for my first cycle, but in his defense, that is the 1st protocol used at almost every IVF center around the world. Very common. My 1st cycle also ended up with no transfer, which was related to the dose of stims I was given based an a great pre-cycle FSH. Nothing ANYBODY could have predicted on a young healthy female. I went to Dr Nelson who was fantastic as well as his team Adeline and Germaine! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I'm not almost 5 months pregnant and was really sad when I had to change to a regular ob/gyn. more

We had a great experience at HRC. The entire staff and our doctor treated us like family. I am surprised to read the other reviews on here, since we had a great experience and also know many others (friends and family) who did too. Our doctor was extremely knowledgeable and was careful to explain everything so we could make an informed decision about our treatment. Our nursing team was caring and organized. I can't say enought about HRC and specifically Dr. David Tourgeman. IVF and infertility is never fun but Dr. T mades me feel comfortable from the beginning and now the whole staff feels like old friends. I am a very difficult case but they never make me feel like a burden. I can't say enough... Love Dr. Tourgeman and HRC! more

During a very tricky time, you can turn to no one kinder, gentler and more helpful than Dr. Wilcox at Huntington Reproductive Center. Everything about HRC is terrific. Their support staff is incredibly helpful and kind. My chances of pregnancy are low, low, low and they are rooting for me, helping me and making me feel upbeat. We had Dr. Kolb and were very happy with him. The staff was great. The process is not easy nor cheap, but is worth it. HRC made the process more bearable. more

I highly recommend Dr. John Wilcox. He is not only progressive in his approach to infertility issues but a compassionate, caring physician. The facility is state-of-the-art and the staff is helpful and friendly. more
