Don't Go Here for Prenatal Visits 5/2/2012

Pregnant prenatal checkups are horrible/sucks here. You are only seen by nurse practitioners at this hospital. I was not diagnosed/checked properly by their prenatal staff and lost my 19 1/2 weeks fetus because of an undetected weak uterus. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR PRENATAL CHECKUPS. See a real doctor only. I asked these nurses that I would like to see the Ob/Gyn (Dr.) and they said I wasn't considered high-risk since all my tests were fine and I had a healthy record. Well...my baby girl was the sacrifice. I will never go to this place EVER again. more

Fantastic Care 9/21/2009

My mother spent 2 weeks in this hospital until she died. There was one slight glitch that had nothing to do with the hospital, but with the doctor's paging service, and other than some of the food issues, we could not have been more impressed with all the professionals who dealt with her. We were afforded the ability to stay with her 24/7 and they have comfortable sleeping areas to do that. The care staff, nurses and nursing assistants could not have been better. We were kept informed by the nurses and the doctors about her medical issues and they helped make her completely comfortable until she died. This has to be a world class care center. Their care and compassion helped us to be able to handle this. She had her needs met as she wanted them to be met. Pros: Compassionate Professional Staff Cons: Some slight glitches more

This is a hospital you would choose to go. 3/23/2005

My partner had to be hospitalized here 7 times in the last year and was also a patient in the radiation department. This hospital is full of angels walking around in nurses uniforms and white Dr coats. The radiation department is headed by some of the greatest and most caring doctors, techs and nurses you could ever hope for. ER can be a wait but the service is top notch, the trauma surgeon we had is phenomenal. The new tower is beautiful, rooms are spacious, clean, you couldnt ask for a better place to recover. The old tower, well, it felt old, the rooms were cramped, there were not enough nurses to adequately cover the oncology floor but even those nurses there were pleasant and did their best. I can honestly say this hospital, the doctors, affiliates and nurses are true heroes and life savers. Pros: The Staff , New Section Cons: Old Section more
