I LOVE HSP!! GREAT CLUB! I've been a member for 11 years now and only use it for deer hunting. I am from WV but I was tired of shooting the small whitetail bucks we have and I wanted a way to AFFORDABLY hunt the much bigger deer they have in the Midwest. Found HSP on the internet and joined. Back then I guess I got a special deal-- it was REALLY inexpensive!-- I got a lifetime deal with NO annual dues-- I only pay $85 per day for the actual days I hunt (don't know if that's still available). If I get my buck on the first day-- my deer hunt that year only cost $85-- and that's for EXCLUSIVE hunting rights in trophy buck country! Anyway, the first 3 years I hunted I saw 10 times more huge bucks than I had seen in my 35 years of hunting in WV -- and I killed 2 that I consider real trophies. One scored 160 B&C and the other was 140! Also have gotten a couple shots at other monsters over the years. Its just a big thrill for me to even SEE these big bucks-- and just to KNOW they are actually in the area I'm hunting. I love the unguided hunting in the flat open country of northern MO-- and the possible long-range shots it affords MUCH different than WV woods-hunting where you can only see 30 or 40 yards. I also prefer to hunt alone and with HSP you can be the ONLY hunter allowed on a huge 4 or 500 acre farm. I rarely even SEE another hunter in the area -- the hunting pressure is so low in this big farm country that I doubt the deer even know that it's hunting season. In WV, the pressure is so bad that if you don't get your buck on opening day, the odds go way down because the deer get spooked and the bigger bucks go nocturnal. In MO, the 4th or 5th day of the hunt is just as good as the first. Also the people at HSP are really great and friendly. Angie is a sweetheart. At first I was afraid it might be a financial rip-off -- but let me assure you--it's not! I am really, really happy with HSP and plan on being a member forever! Call me if you want more info.
