I took my dog to Hunters a couple of weeks ago. This was our second visit. I have never encountered ruder or snobbish owners like I did there.
Before I even got into their shop, they already had me pegged as a sucker who would pay whatever they wanted. Did an assessment of my dog and told how bad off he was and that she would have to charge me at least $100! I had brushed and combed my dog for over a half hour the night before so i know he wasn't that matted as she claimed. Then she criticized my friend who had groomed him before. Plus, she didn't charge that much for his first grooming and he was worse off!
When I challenged her on her prices she said, ""You're too much trouble. You can leave!"" I said, ""Thank You..My Pleasure!!"" Can you imagine any business owner telling a customer that? What rudeness!! If they treat people like that, can you imagine how they would treat your pets behind closed doors?
The Hunters don't care about Customer Service only money in their bankroll. They will not accommodate you if you need to bring in your dog later than they want. They must not want or need business to treat people this way. and it's a good thing because I will NEVER refer ANYONE to their shop!!! :-<
