Hunter Pools

3 1/2 years ago we had our pool built by Hunter Pools and up until last year we were happy with the end result. However, 2 years after our pool was built we started having issues..The first was the light..second was we have diving rock that came loose..and needs to be reattached before it falls into my pool and causes damage..for 6-months he kept telling me someone would come fix it. now my salt cell is out and I can not get a return phone call or when I do I am told they will take care of it be never do...I am a very dissatisfied customer and I will not recommend them as a pool builder. more

This company had personal issues toward the end of our job, so they did not finish some things even though we had paid for them. Did not seal tile. We had to do that. Did not caulk around the edge of tile, we are having to pay for that to be done. Pool sides are already turning yellow, so now we have to deal with that. Did not give us any manuals or instruction regarding equipment. I guess they are out of business now, because we cannot get in touch for any of our questions. We had many different pool companies come to our home and decided to go with Hunter Pools. One thing I love about Hunter Pools is the person that SALES you the pool is the person that is BUILDING your pool. Michael was here for every step of the way of the buidling process. If I had any questions about anything he was happy to answer it. Michael was a stickler about his workers making sure the pool area stayed clean and neat. through the whole process The job was very smooth and ran highly effiecient. The only battles we had was having to fight rain at times and my husband and I deciding on slate or flagstone. Michael takes pride and makes sure the pool is done only one way and that is right. I have had my pool now for over a year and still to this day if I have a question about anything I do not hesitate to call him and ask what to do and he is more than happy to help answer the question and do not be suprised to see him show up to make sure the issue is resolved. I have and still would highly recommend Hunter Pools to anyone. Pros: many extras - concreted where your equipment goes, beautiful mastic, great computer program to show what your pool will look like more
