Great place for summer activities 8/19/2005

I have only been here in the non-winter seasons., but there is plenty of things to do besides skiing. In the summer, there are many events and festivals going on. You can take the gondola up to the top for a beautiful view of the Catskill Mountains. In the fall you can come see the colorful foliage on the trees. Be sure to bring your camera. more

Hunter Mountain Skiing 8/7/2005

Hunter Mountain is a great place to bring the family to ski. All skiing is expensive, so Hunter Mountain is no different, but if you choose mid week skiing usually you can find an affordable family trip. Ski shops in the area can also be a place to find cheap ski rates for Hunter Mountain. Hunter is great for beginner skiers, and has very challenging trails as well. I have been going to Hunter Mountain for years and have not found a nicer mountain for the money. more
