My son said that the Hunt County Juvenile Detention Center is just as dirty, and water standing on the floor, the officers do not clean, the toilet was leaking, they took his mattress, the water faucet did not work, they turned the water off for everybody. more

Health Hazard 7/17/2009

This would have to be the worst jail ever. I know jail is not a pleasure but, this place should be shut down. When you shower the water does not drain so, you walk around in standing water all day. The sink was broke for three days. The cleaning supplies are offered once every 4 days. Laundry was not washed for 2 weeks. They offer no religious services. The rec time is called at 7am when no-one would want to go b/c that is breakfast time. The medical staff forgets your medication. This is the most ridiculious and inhumane place one has ever seen. Not to mention it smells like sewage. Pros: n/a Cons: nasty, unsanitary, no rec time, no clean laundry more

WORST PLACE IN TOWN!! 3/15/2008

This was the worst sespool I have ever been to. I realize jail is not supposed to be pleasant, but this place was rediculous! I had a panic attack while I was there and my BP was 184/153 and the nurse told me that wjen I stopped breathing, she would help me. Also, the judge, who goes by ""Sarge"" told me that my bond was $25,000.00 and it was only $2,500.00...BIG DIFFERENCE! Cons: thousands more
