Near the Witte Museum 8/15/2008

Love their mushroom fried rice. It's awesome. It is mostly busy but service is always fast and quick. Has oriental curious shop inside the restauraunt that is interesting to browse. Pros: crowded Cons: fast service more

Terrible Chinese 6/9/2008

We had not eaten here in about 12 years and the food has not changed. It's as bad as it was 12 years ago. My egg drop soup was thick, eggrolls were greasy and tastless. The fried rice was dry and had no taste at all. We will not be returning again! Pros: Good Service and Prices Cons: Quality of food more

You get served so much food and it's great for the price. The staff could be a little more friendlier but that's okay anyways all the do is refill your drink anyways. The cook is the one who brings you the meal...that's cool. The scenery is of course oriental as you would guess. They even have other cool stuff inside that you could buy and take home. Did I mention the service is super fast for dining in and taking out and the food is always hot!! Pros: food is always hot and fast Cons: location, wish there was one closer more

Don't waste your time or money like I did. Food tasted like microwave left overs. waitress was rude. Pros: I dont have to go ever again ! Cons: I wasted $10 bucks more

So-so 6/3/2006

I was looking forward to eating here, it being the oldest Chinese restaurant in San Antonio. I figured that it had to be great if it's been around so long. But I was disappointed in the food. It was OK, but nothing special. The pork with vegetables combination menu item was good, but I'd skip the Mongolian Beef and try something different if you really want to eat here. I probably won't be back since there are so many other Chinese restaurants around. more

great food.. reasonable price.. relaxed atmosphere.. really good food, hot sauce here the best, seafood supreme and mongolian beef are excellent as well as the fried rice, no wonder their the oldest and i truly believe the best Chinese in San Antonio more

Delicious Value 4/7/2003

I have been going here for years, and it's still delicious. There's a reason it's been in business for over 50 years, people! I've gone here by myself, with two family members, and with a bunch of friends for someone's birthday and it's always been great. Their lemon combo (chicken, pork and shrimp) with their fried rice is excellent, as is their cashew chicken. Mmm.. Pros: good fortune cookies, free lime with tea, goooood fried rice Cons: bad fortunes, rarely free refills, it's like, $.80 extra more
