Humane Society of North Texas

We have had our Shepard mix since she was 2 months old. She is over 10 years old and the best dog we have ever owned and loved. We named her Totzaon which is navjo for Lucky old Lady... Which she she is and is still very health... Thanks to all the team @ Humane Sociey of North Texas. The pace is well set up for adoptions. more

My experience for the Humane Society is one that i wouldnt have missed for nothing, we recently adopted a small dog whose name was ""Sugar"" we later re-named her ""Mysti"" she is a one-eyed Shih Tzu, she has brought us so much joy as we watch her grow up, she was only 10 1/2 months old when we brought her into our hearts and our home, she loves to play from the moment that she wakes up until she goes to sleep, watching her eat chew-chews and biscuits and play with our other dogs and play tag, we put ice in their water when it is so hot outside when they come in from playing, she moves the water to get to the ice, coming up with a very wet face. we all love her and our 5 dogs are each and everyone with their own personality, i do recommend everyone that can to adopt in the shelter to do just that, ADOPT more
