Hughes Ski Hut has the most knowledgable staff around and can answer any questions about you ski or snowboard equipment. Their tuning shop is the best in the northstate. They always have a great selection of clothing from many different brands. I suggest shopping outside the box and supporting our local "Mom & Pop shops" so they will be around for many years to come! Remember, before you click that online purchase... the internet can't wax your skis or board! Shop local! more

Great place for skis and equipment 3/28/2006

Be sure to mark you calendar for their annual equipment liquidation sale. I bought a pair of skis, bindings, boots and poles for under $300. Everything brand new! They do a great job tuning your equipment too, and return your equipment to you in a timely manner. If owning your equipment isn't the way you wish to go they have a large rental shop for boards and skis. Even my husband with his size 15 foot can find equipment here. more

  • Hughes Ski Hut has decades of history and experience. We are the only surviving full-service ski and snowboard shop in the area. You can be confident that we will be here for you in the future. Hughes Ski Hut first opened their doors in 1971 as a snowski shop that was only open in the winter. We have since expanded, now carrying more categories and product lines. In 1985, we added watersports to our product offering and began staying open year-round. About a decade later, we added the category of high quality patio furniture during the summers.
