I've been a long time customer of H&J's and have really enjoyed the VIP membership they offer, well worth it! I wash my Tahoe at least once a week, and get to drink a beer or three while I wait. ;) Now that they finally serve some really good food, I find myself there almost twice a week haha. I wasn't sure what to expect but I had driven by this place many times on my way home. I finally stopped in over the weekend and really was pleasantly surprised. I am female so washing my car is not a priority usually. While I didn't partake in an alcoholic beverage or eat (I just had lunch) I did enjoy watching the football game that was on in the main viewing area while waiting. They did an excellent job. I think even my husband would approve. Good atmosphere and customer service. more

Absolutley Awesome place. Great car wash, price is CHEAP...Tunnel washes are $24.95 after you add the tire dressing...H&J's is $19 bucks and includes tire dressing. They have killer bloody mary's and LIVE bands on the weekends. I went to see the last UFC fight and they have a great friendly crowd. I just signed up for the monthly unlimited wash program...$59 bucks a month and I can come in as often as I like. 2 1/2 regular priced washes in a month and it pays for itself. I like a clean ride, so I can see being their a couple of times a week. NO BRAINER. Leather recliners, plasma HD TV's everywhere, VERY COOL !! Pros: Great Service, Killer Concept, Live Bands, UFC Cons: takes longer than a tunnel wash, but it is a hand wash more

We had a Sunday afternoon jam-packed of chores. Having driven by Hugh & Jeff's Car Wash & Grill sign many times, we decided we could accomplish 3 things in one-stop, saving ourselves time & energy. We would get the car washed & get lunch, and as a bonus watch a bit of the game that we were missing while getting chores finished. Instead we spent $20 (the most expensive car wash we've been to in the Bay area yet) and 1 hour to have the outside only of our Tahoe washed. And there was NO GRILL OR FOOD inside! We could've had the car washed cheaper and faster elsewhere if there is no grill to go along with it. What a waste of our time and money. If there actually was a grill, it could be a great concept, but the delivery at the moment is a horrid business model: stand around drinking beer until you can get back in your washed car. Good revenue base for the city I guess, if they need it & enough stagger out after waiting so long for the car wash. Pros: Concept Cons: No actual grill or food, overpriced car wash more

I took my Mustang in recently and was totally amazed at the concept. Pros: 100% hand car wash, and an Ice cold beer...WOW!! Cons: Grill is not yet open...bummer. I hear August more
