We've been hitting Hudson's off and on since its opening a few years ago. A recent lunch date left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The hostess was away from her station when I arrived and I was left to cool my heels until she returned from a break. Maybe Hudson's has trimmed its sails according to its light traffic: there were a lone waiter and single cook, as well. But the menu is probably too ambitious for a cook working alone. Ingredients seemed fine, for the most part, but somehow the sum of the meal was a good bit less than its parts (and than its value!).
Pros: nice dining room, appealing menu, pretty easy parking
Cons: expensive, maybe too little help, hold the pepper!
