Hudson Highland Vet Med Group

After having terrible experiences with Veterinary's in the area, I have to say we were so relieved to have finally found "Hudson Highlands Veterinary Group"! Not only are the Veterinary's right on target when examining our furbabies, they are also very caring, kind hearted and always make sure they extend themselves even further by calling to make sure they are ok! The staff is totally amazing, when we walk in everyone greets them with a smile on their face and hugs, cuddle's and treat's. (Towards us too ...leaving out the treats). I can not even express in words how wonderful and compassionate the Staff is, I do not know what I would have done without the comfort and support they gave during the most dreaded time when we had to say goodbye to our Roxi & then Daisy. I thank God for them being there for us! I would like to take the time to thank you all once again for always being such wonderful, caring and dedicated people. more

I recently switched to this group because of a move and they were close to home. The care in this practice is not bad, however I think others should be aware of a few things. There is a great vet in this group and there are some "OK" vets and one that I will refuse to see anymore due to lack of professionalism. There are some great vet techs here and one that I will not allow touch my dog - after she called him a monster for squirming during a procedure to draw blood. \r \r This group is pricey. A friend of mine used to use them and switched to another vet because of it. Shorty after the switch, her dog had a medical emergency and they refused to see her dog because he "was no longer a patient" .To me this shows a complete disregard for the needs of the animals. I plan to find another group. more

This place is a total rip off. Make sure you find out the cost of your service when you book the appointment. Then call another vet to ask their price for the same service and cancel your appointment at HHVMG. more

I live some distance from Hudson Highlands, but when my dog needed surgery for luxating patellas as a pup my vet would only recommend Dr. McNamara. There is no one better for this type of surgery and he and the staff were wonderful. more

We love the Hudson Highland Vet Med Group -- they take very good care of our dog. They are open 24 hours a day --- which is the best! more

Very modern facility, caring vetinarians and workers. We've been bringing our pets here for years. Appointments are easy to get, reminder cards are sent. A little pricey but I believe the care my pets receive makes up for it! more

This animal hospital is very clean, bright and inviting. I bring my pets here for regular visits and i am comforted knowing that if ever there is an emergency, i can call them 24hours a day. There are also specialty doctors at this hospital, like a behaviorist, neurologists, surgeons and small animal doctors. I am very pleased with the care my pets receive when they visit this place. more
