I had an awful experience at this gas station and feel it necessary to warn other patrons. If you find yourself needing to gas up at the San Pablo Dam Rd Exit, I would try one on San Pablo Ave instead. They have the new pumps that you have to hold and there is no automatic lock on them. When my tank was full, the sensor on the handle did not shut off the pump and it kept filling my tank! Unfortunately I was in a daze from a horrible day at work and had no idea it was filling past 8 gallons (who ever pays attention to this? The pumps ALWAYS click off when the tank is full!) I finally noticed the problem and stopped filling, then went inside to let the owner know that the sensor is faulty. I figured he would thank me and let me know that they will investigate the problem, but instead, he blamed me for the incident and told me that his pumps have been inspected and are flawless with no problems. I could have just driven away, but I wanted to let him know so that other customers didn't have the same thing happen to them. In the future, I will remain much more aware of how the pumps are working, and I most certainly will not go to HP Gas Station where there are faulty pumps and a rude gas station owner!
