This place is GREAT! 3/31/2012

I've been bringing my dogs and cat here since they opened - about 10 years now. They have always done a great job and the dogs go nuts when I say, ""Wanna go see Miss Betty?"" They RUN from the car to the door! It's a beautiful place and is clean and well kept. I can tell my dogs are loved and given attention by their attitudes when I pick them up - they're not stressed out or sick. They have a groomer so I can have my dogs bathed before I pick them up - that's a big plus too. She also grooms cats. I would not hesitate to recommend this kennel to everyone I know. This place KILLED my dog 1/9/2012

I give one star only because there is no option to give 0 or negative stars.\r On January 5th 2011 I left my best friend Buddy,a beautiful 25 lb sheltie in the care of these people. They allowed a huge mastiff to not only break out of its pen but also break into Buddy's pen and KILL him. How could this happen with the 24 HOUR SUPERVISION they claim to have on their website and in their brochures (website may have since been modified). They also breed and sell mastiffs. They should know better than anyone what it takes to contain these huge dogs. I will never forgive myself for leaving Buddy with these people. Great place!! 12/6/2011

Lovely facility. The folks who own it are very experienced and truly care about the dogs. They've always been able to accommodate my kids, even on short notice. All my special requests are met including giving meds, daily brushing, walks, special food, etc. I'm super particular about who takes care of my dogs and I would not hesitate to recommend Howl-A-Day. In fact, I know several people who have taken their dogs there on my recommendation and all have reported very positive experiences from them. more

A very nice family owned kennel. 10/27/2011

Since we moved to Catawba County in 2008, the Howl A Day Inn has been our kennel of choice. Family owned and operated, with deep care and concern for our dog. Sometimes we have special needs when our dog visits, and they are always happy to oblige. We feel like we're leaving our dog with family members when ever the need arises for kennel visits. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! 10/26/2011

I can't believe how beautiful this place is. It's like a fancy hotel for dogs and cats. The people live on the property and keep it up so well. Our dogs always stay here and we never have to bring dog food - they use that high dollar BillJac stuff! Breath taking beauty and safe surroundings (double fenced!) I felt like my dog was getting as good a vacation as I was! LOL..... more

Wonderful Place!! 7/11/2011

We have been using the Howl-A-Day Inn for years for our three dogs. The owners are fantastic! They live on site and provide excellent care. They have been able to squeeze us in for emergency visits on a few occasions. They will do whatever they can do to accommodate your needs. more

WOW! Top Notch Facility! 8/22/2008

This place is amazing! Beautiful setting. Nicest accommodations you'll ever find for your dog (or cat)! Really like that they offer woodland walks for your pet - just one of the many extra's. Nicer than alot of the hotels/motels I'VE stayed in! more
