Howell Construction

I'm a veteran home builder in the FNSB and have had Bud Howell construction install all my septic systems over the last 15 years and have never once had a system fail or have I been disappointed with the workmanship or price. Bud is a classic example of the older way of doing business. Keeping his word and not screwing you over with the higher prices of some of the other places in town. Maybe the reason the other two didn't give a good review is because they never paid there bill. I've seen Mr. Howell pour his heart and soul into his business and on several occasions seen his kindness taken advantage of. And his trust for people cost him a lot of money. Any way top notch in my book wouldn't go another direction if they paid me. Thanks Bud for all your hard work more

As the other reviewer said, this man is rude and confrontational. As I live 3,000 miles from the house he was hired to service, I was trusting that he would live up to his word. Not only did he not provide the services he charged me for, when I called to discuss the matter, he yelled and hung up on me! BEWARE! more

Do not hire Bud Howell to do any work for you! Though he claims to provide certified systems with 5 year warranties he will not provide documentation of the construction, the Alaska required photographs of work and diagrams. He does not provide contracts for work and even asked me if he could dump dirt in the neighbor's yard, "because he probably won't notice anyway" rather than properly grade and dispose of fill. Finally, he guarantees his work for 5 years but mine failed inspection after light use in only 3 years. If you ask him any questions he only becomes belligerent and degrades you demanding money for wasting his time. He will also threaten you to get his way. Save your money and hire someone else. more
