Howe himself is known to yell at and disrespect the homeowners. He treats us like tenants, not owners. He refuses to maintain the property as he is paid to do. He does the cheapest and cheapest looking work. Frick and Frack are his maintenance people who just happen to be his friends. So happy that Mr. Howe is using our hard earned money to keep his buddies in business. Howe does not properly maintain the outside of the buildings and when his negligence causes damages and unnecessary wear on our buildings, he demands we replace things and tells us WE have to pay for it! IT IS HOWE'S NEGLIGENCE that caused these damages!\r \r Our Bylaws protect Howe and the money sitting in our reserves. There is about 200,000 in reserve and has been for years but they sure as hell aren't using it to maintain this place as they should.\r \r People are suffering huge financial losses that the association should be covering or Howe should be covering because he is not maintaining the property correctly.\r \r \r Pros: Neighbors Cons: Abuse of power, Unethical and worse more

Howe Real Estate Services is perhaps the worst property management company I have ever known. They employ the most ignorant, uneducated people they can find. The services provided by Howe Real Estate to my condo association has been severely lacking in the areas of lawn & landscape, snow removal, general maintenance & repairs. In the past year and a half that I've owned my condo, the assessments have increased by nearly $100 and in addition to that, they have shut down our fitness center and pool which I'm now told that I am part owner of and that the $1.3 million debt on that property is partly my responsibility. Rich Howe's office used money from my association's reserve fund to make mortgage payments on the fitness center property and thus drained our association's reserve funds. Before buying a condo or townhouse or any home that has a property management company, first make sure it's not Howe Real Estate Services and then be sure to read all of the fine print before signing on the dotted line. more
