I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE , this guy tried to run a scam, and said that my crankshaft pulley was broken. when it actually came from the factory that way. well to say the idiot got owned and my car passed by him with the pulley that he tried to get me to take to his friends or brothers shop to have repaired!!! I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF THIS SCAM ARTIST...(And i can provide proof of this for anyone that would like to dispute it...) more

I happened to be in the lobby of Tailpipes Smog shop when "" Phil 410, re: Bad business"" exploded, not only at the smog technician but his poor wife as well! He did not let the technician clearly explain the problem before he began accusing him of being shady and a scam artist! His wife was also trying to calm down her husband as she understood what was being said and believe me the technician was NOT trying to get him to go to any shop for repairs! I heard the whole conversation!! This man had to be under the influence of SOMETHING, his behavior was irrational and quite frankly scary. I came on this site to write a review myself, and was shocked to see the negative review by the man in front of me at the shop!! Completely unfounded! I was there! So unfair to write such lies!! So Thank you Smog Tech guy! Sorry you have to deal with these kinds of Jerks! Go to Tailpipes! Honest and friendly people!! more
