This crappy motel is the worst place my husband and I have ever stayed. We had 3 dogs and was charged $10 per dog per day i.e. $90. One of the dogs had a little accident and they wanted to charge us to have it cleaned. What the hell was the $90 for? Now that I got that out of the way, the telephone didn't work, there were holes in the bed spead, the blanket, and the pillow case. The room smelled, too. They need to clean their carpets, because the smell was coming was there. I would stay in a bus station before I stay there again. more

It was a great experience 9/30/2010

Front desk people were very nice and ready to help with anything I needed. The room was clean the area was quiet and near many things to do in the town. It was a great experience. I stay here every time I am in Flagstaff. more

Great price, good location! 9/29/2010

Great price, good location, free breakfast. more

Perfectly located 9/20/2010

I?ll definitely be staying here again on my next Snowbowl Flagstaff trip. It is perfectly located for a quick overnight stay to be able to head to Snowbowl early in the morning. The beds have to be some of the most comfortable hotel beds I?ve stayed in. Very nice especially for the price. more

Nice neighborhood, would stay again 9/15/2010

Since I travel quite frequently for business, I appreciated the competitive price, so I hoped for a quality & clean property. Things went very well. The service was really helpful, the room was super clean and the breakfast was more than adequate. I also liked the neighborhood. It was close to the freeway and surrounded by other hotels. I felt very safe. I would stay there again. more

Great value and comfortable place 9/14/2010

The friendly staff and great price is what we like. We don?t understand some of the reviews that mention the train noise. There are many hotels on the same street that charge twice the price or more and are just as close to the tracks. What we do know is that this hotel is a great value and a comfortable place to stop for the night. Every time we pass through Flagstaff we stay there. P.S. During that same trip we stayed at a resort that charged 9 times the price and the front desk staff wasn?t as good as HJs. more

Updating the hotel! 9/2/2010

The staff was very friendly and accomadating. The rooms are clean, but I could see they were trying to update and paint. The location was great for the restaurants close by. For the price and last minute booking it was a good choice. more

I wouldn't stay anywhere else! It is PERFECT for the price! 8/24/2010

I was very happy with my stay here. I have stayed alone for business and have also been here with my family to visit the Grand Canyon. Everything was great and we had no complaints. It is not the newest place but considering the owners are not the original owners, there have done a great job maintaining the place and keeping very clean. Unless you can stay in a 5 star hotel for $250 a night, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It is perfect for the price. more

Awesome Location for trips to Grand Canyon & Sedona... 4/5/2007

This was my 2nd time at the HoJo Inn on Route 66; the first was at the beginning of this February. Both times, my stay was comfy. This motel is at a very convenient location. It's right off of Route 66, there is a restaurant connected to the motel (that serves great diner food), and a lounge/bar within walking distance. Downtown Flagstaff is about a 3 minute drive. Sedona is about 45minutes - 1hr away...and the drive is beautiful...especially in the winter time. There was still snow in Feb when we were there. Grand Canyon is about 1.5-2hrs away, also a very scenic drive. We were there this past weekend. No more snow, but still very cold once the sun sets. Pros: Great location, near food/drinks, helpful front desk, good price Cons: Train track more
