My dad owns this company and when i was little, i'd listen to him make phone calls back to customers. I heard him help people fix problems over the phone when he could. When people couldn't pay right away, he'd leave an invoice with a smile on his face. I went with him on service calls and learned the value of telling someone that the repair would cost the same as a brand new appliance, and actually talk the customer into a new appliance, even though he made no money off the call. He taught me everything i needed to know about how to be honest, fair, and great with customers. I am now a customer service manager for an major telecommunications company, and have excelled in my career. I owe it all to my dad.
