Howard Animal Hospital

First I will tell you about my poor dog who was left on the street by some JERK to starve when he was brought to the Howard Animal Hospital he was close to dead! No other vet would take him without a guarantee of payment. Dr. Nesse took him in and he and his staff nursed him back to health, not knowing when or how or even how much he would be paid. I adopted him from the good samaritans who rescued him and two weeks after adopting the dog I lost my job however the dog still needed lots of work and Dr. Nesse was generous enough to give me a substantial discount on his services. The staff at the hospital could not be more caring and if it wasn't for them I cringe to think of where my poor boy would be!!! I thank you all for the amazing job you do!!!!! Dr. Nesse, Warren, and Elise are truly wonderful people. more

WATCHED OUT!!! Pretended to be nice and quoted very low prices before surgery. After surgery, the bill was TRIPLE than what was originally quoted. They never notified me about the price change. When I picked up the pet, then they told you the surgery was a big one so the price was different. But why didn't they mention it before the surgery and gave a more accurate estimate to the client ? The vet just quoted a very low price to get the business, afterwards, he TRIPLED the price. He just charged whatever he wanted after everything was done. When I did not agree with the charge, the vet just yelled, spoke ""F"" language, hit the desk and refused to give back my pet. I couldn' t believe my eyes and my ears a vet behaved like that! I totally agree the review from ""dyadegar"". My experience was even worse than hers. more
