Houston's H & W Meats

As a long time customer with Houston Meats I recently purchased 2 bushels of Oysters and when we started eating them we ran into some that smelled very bad and I mean BAD, and as well as anyone knows you don't want to eat bad Oysters. I did call them and they said they would refund my money but when I got there they would only refund for the amount it weighed even after I washed all the mud off and took out all the loose ones. The week before my brother got a whole case of ribs and we took them out they smelled rotten. I hope everyone see's this and will go somewhere else, I know I will never go back especially after talking to the owner and it seemed he didn't care. more

I live near and have been dealing with H & W for 30 Plus years. Always gotten GOOD meat , custom cut steaks, & oysters there. Pros: null Cons: null more

I went to houston's meats located at 12545 n main street,jacksonville,fl 32218,on sat.13,20011.I paid for a half bushel of oysters and was cheated.I called monday to let them know without giving my name and he the said you're the women with the pretty red car and proceed to make excuses up to when I mention my daughter said to him the sack felt light so I asked for a manager he made excuses even after I told I didnt know there wasnt a half of bushel in the sack til the guys putting them on the grill told me.I guest customer get cheated,but I know this has a lot to do with the king pin in political government and the telephone company they are hiding behind.this isnt the only thing thats happen to me mostly by whites thats corrupted.insecure by little old me. more
