The Houston Symphony is awesome to listen to. They have regular performances in Jones Hall and FREE performances in the Miller Outdoor Theatre. They are play different types of genre. They have has guests like Art Garfunkel and even Christian artists such as Michael W. Smith. I really enjoyed watching them at the Miller Theatre. It's really fun to just sit and listen to them. It would also be a great cultural exposure for kids and might even get them into music. more

Best In Town 8/22/2005

Houston Symphony has been a part of Houston's culture since the beginning of time. It continues to be one of Houston's biggest enjoyments. It is located in the theater district downtown and has ample parking. The tickets are always reasonably priced and the performances are always wonderful. I enjoy a night at the symphony occasionally, it is just so relaxing and entertaining. more
