I have to agree with swimmomof4 that if a place is busy then they must be doing something right! I have seen terrific and regular progress with my own children and am quick to recommend houston swim club to friends who want their children to actually learn how to swim. I must disagree with jumpers because my family has had nothing but a positive experience. As for the ""ridiculous"" policies, name one business that has no policies! The policies are easily understood for those who take the time to actually read them. Other review...not so much 9/10/2009

Yes, the pool is crowded...which tells me that they are good at what they do. The instructors are good at maneuvering kids so that they continually progress. As for the bathrooms...pretty sure kids are there to learn swimming, not have lots of dressing rooms. Kids can be showered at home. I'd rather pay for quality lessons than a state of the art bathroom! Pros: quality instruction, reasonable price Cons: afternoons are always full! more
