It's the other day I locked my keys in the car while it was running, unbelievable. I was lucky that I call up these locksmiths and they were able to get out to me quickly and get my keys. I really don't know what I would have done if they were able to help me in a pinch. more

Quality Safes, Excellent Prices, Professional Staff 3/2/2011

I needed a safe for my home but really had never taken the time to educate myself about them. I went to Houston Safe and Lock and was helped tremendously by the knowledgeable staff. The owner himself took me around and showed me all the options and gave me his honest opinion on what would serve me the best. I ended up with a high quality safe at a better price than any of the big box stores. more

Houston Safe and Lock Goes Above and Beyond 3/1/2011

One evening after church services I realized I had locked my keys in my car. A church member told me there was a locksmith right nearby. I did not expect any luck since it was after business hours, Sur enough,I walked over to Houston Safe and Lock and found them closed. I called the emergency number posted on the door and nice man came right out. He walked me to my car and quickly opened my door. I have never had to call out a locksmith, but if I ever need a Houston locksmith again, you know who it will be! more

Love Houston Safe & Lock 2/27/2011

I have had many wonderful experiences with Houston Safe and Lock. They came to my house and installed the Mul T Lock Deadbolts and I have never felt safer when I or my children are home alone. The employees are very kind and helpful. I have also purchased a fire safe to keep my valuables secure at all times. The safe was installed in my house quickly and professionally. Highest recommendations! more

lock out of truck 2/27/2011

i lock my truck keys and didnt know what to do. alot of locksmith are very dishonest. guys at my houston locksmith help me unlock my truck and make spare key in case i do it again. i dont have much money but they didnt make me pay too much. more

Wonderful Selection 12/21/2010

I have purchased High Security Medeco Locks and an American Security Safe from Houston Safe and Lock. The Staff is magnificent and the shop is full of inventory. Fred told me that if they didn't have a safe I wanted he could order it (to be honest I didn't know there were THAT many safest to choose from) but his selection is unmatched and I was able to find EXACTLY what I was looking for- for less than what I was expecting to pay. The two young men that delivered my safe were very fast but very careful. I really appreciated the respect they had for my property and my home. I would really recommend this place to anyone who needs a key made to a safe installed. more

Doesnt' rip you off! 12/21/2010

I called up houston safe and lock after having my husbands lovely dog broke down our back door (she weighs 120lbs) I was so angry that I was going to have my frame replaced and the hardware on the door. I called a few locksmiths and they told me that since it was noon on a Saturday I was going to have to pay over time rates and higher service call fees. One guy quoted me 145 just to come out! I called Houston Safe and Lock and they didn't even mention over time hours and only charged me a regular price service call fee and to come out and change the hardware on the door. I got pretty lucky because the other locksmiths I talked to told me that I would need someone else to come out and fix my door (this was before they even looked at it) and when the tech from Houston Safe and Lock got to my house he said that the door was easily fixed and he would be happy to fix it at no charge. He did tell me that the reason why my dog was able to bust it down was because I have crappy locks on my door and then he told me about the High Securtity Locks that his company sold and how the deadbolt would be hard to "kick in" (or in my case ram in- seriously I put her out and made a phone call and she busts the door down). My husband I made a trip later that day to the shop and they had an amazing selection of high security locks and safes. I was amazed at how many keys they had on the key wall! My husband and I did upgrade the locks on our doors and they came back out later that day to install them (on a Saturday) and I still didn't get charged over time fees. Great shop that doesn't want to rip you off! more

Fast Service and budgetPrice. 5/29/2010

I had been looking for a Houston locksmith to make some lock repairs on my home and I had a safe that I could not get into. This local locksmith in Houston came out, knocked out the lock repairs and now they work like new. The safe was a different issue. I gave the locksmiths what I thought was the combo. Not the right one, so he started dialing with a method called safe manipulation and after about 45 min he had it open and I had the new/old safe combo. Great Service, Great Price. Pros: This houston locksmith got it done right. Cons: Nothing bad to say. more

Medeco and Mul-T-Lock Super Store. 3/10/2010

I wanted the best security possible to protect my family and my brother recommended Houston safe and lock. We met at the locksmith shop on Westheimer and they showed me all their High Security deadbolts. Medeco and Mul-T-Lock seemed to be the best out there being that the locksmith had them on every door on the locksmith store. We selected Medeco deadbolts and I am pleased with these locks after three months in service. The staff and service were above par. The prices were better than competitive. Pros: Medeco and Mul-T-Lock Super Store. Cons: none more

The safe look better in person than on This screen. 3/3/2010

I did my research and Houston safe got the sale. They had the best showroom full of safes and security locks and prices were lower than the other two I was able to find and they were able to deliver it on the week end when I was off from work. And by the way try to find a locksmith with a walk-in location, its not easy. This houston safe and lock is the real mccoy. Pros: I did my research and Houston safe got the sale. Cons: N/A more

Half the price of the dealer! 2/7/2010

Lost my keys to the Lexus and come to find out the key was high security with a chip involved. I called the dealer and they wanted to tow the car just to make a key, forget that. I called Houston safe and locksmith and they had the special tool to program the transponder key and they were half the price of the dealer. more

Locked out and cold. 2/7/2010

I went out to get the paper in the early am and I locked myself out of the house. the neighbor recommended this company and they were there in 20 min. Danny opened the door in a snap and there was no damage. I recommend this place if you ever need a fast locksmith. Pros: Fast Service! Cons: n/a more

Huge Safe Company with great service and rates. 1/22/2010

I have been having trouble with my step son and my x and thing starting disappearing. I needed a safe and I had to get it now. I called and told Ricki the locksmith what I was looking for and he loaded up three or four for me to look at. They showed up with the safes and I picked the safe that fit best in my hiding place and I was impressed with the extra effort Houston safes provided. Pros: They know thier Safes and they are licened and bonded Cons: I wish there was a Safe company like this closer to home. more

My husband travels frequently and I really did not feel safe. Houston safe and lock sent some locksmiths over and fixed all that by adding some Medeco Deadbolts and they checked the whole place for other security break downs and I now am better and feel safe. more

Hey people this locksmith is a safe cracker and the best Houston Locksmith around and if you don't believe me give them a call and let your experience speak for itself. If you have any concerns like I did just call the owner and he made everything to my liking. He explained the process of key control and had some helpful suggestions about safe repairs and the keys to the safe.. Pros: Safe Opend and repaired. Cons: Ony good service. more
