Great Asian Food 4/17/2006

Located in central Fairlawn, House of Hunan is a wonderful Asian cuisine restaurant. The ambience is really great and the tables are plentiful, so you never have to wait long to eat. The food totally rocks! I have never been disappointed in anything I have ordered from House of Hunan! The dishes are large enough to fill up on and have leftovers to take home, and though the prices are high, they are worth it. more

Great on holidays! 4/15/2006

House of Hunan was a live saver for us on Christmas when my spouse was sick and didn’t feel like cooking. We went there as it was the only place open. Though it was very busy, we got seated very quickly. The service was exceptional, and the prices were reasonable. The food was very good as well, and we were very satisfied with our experience there. more

Great on the holidays! 3/26/2006

What can I say, we got lazy on Christmas night and needed dinner, so we checked out the House of Hunan. There was a bit of a wait. This was a problem because they have no place to wait. Therefore, everyone is just huddled up by the doorway. When we were finally seated and had a chance to look at the menu, it was great. They have such a large selection, it made it hard to pick out a meal. The food was taste also and the price did not break the bank. I would recommend this restaurant, especially on holidays when everything else is closed! more

Family owned and operated great Chinese food... 8/26/2005

Located in Fairlawn Towne Center, this place is a fun and tasty destination. The decor is inviting and service friendly. A wide variet y of Chinese items are offered. Fresh made sushi is also available. We have never ordered anything we didn't enjoy there. Phone in/Carry out is easy and parking is plentiful. A Thai chef has been added recently but we haven't tried any new Thai items on the menu yet~ They also have a cocktail lounge. more
