Ever wondered how domestic violence can have an affect on some people? Well I just discovered a business that is there to help those women and or children that have been part of a domestic violence in their lives. What they do is that they help those who have had the hardest part of getting out of that relationship to get out they help them move on. The House of Ruth helps build a future to those children and women in those circumstances.
As of right now the House of Ruth is located in Washington DC and has 13 sites willing to help those women and children in need. They have child development and learning centers for the children and they also have classes for the women to help them deal with the trauma, abuse, and substance abuse if they have some. I believe this place is a wonderful place for women that are in Need of help and will help them have that voice to let others know that they will not take it anymore and that they can HAVE a better live with out the abuse that was put upon them.
