not worth it - bad business practices 10/8/2009

i ordered two arrangements online for mothers day this year (2009). the first arrangement was not at all what i ordered. the photo online pictured beautiful deep blue/purple tulips. purple has special significance to this recipient, and i wanted tulips exactly that color (earlier that week, i saw tulips just like that at my grocery store, but since i live out of state i couldn't buy those). so i thought i knew what i was ordering. the tulips that were sent were lavender-ish. when i called to complain, HOF told me that they might not have gotten in any deep blue/purple flowers so they might have substituted with a different color. i told them i did not authorize them to substitute (i specifically did not check that box) and i wanted the color i ordered. this is what really gets me: they delivered what were supposed to be the "right" color - it was not - and THEY TOOK BACK THE VASE AND OTHER FLOWERS and substituted with one that was SMALLER and did not fit the new flowers as well. the other arrangement was fine, which is the only reason i am giving them two stars and not one. more

do you need a good bouquet to give to someone you love? or a arrangement for a wedding or a funeral. well if so, you can get it all at this place called the house of flowers, a true flower super store. i was really impressed by how they have the sweetest smelling,and freshly cut flowers here, flowers that will make anyone really happy. you can't go wrong with their roses, of course, but everything else they have is nice, too. they are also very reasonably priced. more

need a good bouquet to give to your honey sweetie pie? well, you can get it at the house of flowers, a true flower super store. i am really impressed by how they have the sweetest smelling, freshly cut flowers here, flowers that will make your sweetie really happy. you can't go wrong with the roses, of course, but everything else they have is nice, too. more

Great Fresh Flowers 8/19/2005

called them to get some flowers believe me I was in no shape at all to know what to order . Jane was great to help me try to find out the cause of the flowers I was able to tell her I was in shock & needed flowers .I was suggested to come on in and she would be more than happy to help . I( did go to the store & she was wonderful .. she took aside from the others employees picked out some flowers .. I was so glad I had the time to talk with her she was very helpful & polite . Half of the battle was over flowers were complete . Highly reccomend the House Of Flowers Florist more
