The first time we used HouseMouse for our Home Inspection we had no problems and thought he did a very thorough job. Wanting to return business, I set an appointment with him to Inspect our second home a year later. The appointment was set the day before he was to come out, and he assured me that he would be there before me. I called him later with a question regarding a particular issue we wanted him to take a look at, but didn't get a return call. I left 2 messages, but assumed he was just gone for the day. The next morning I called to verify that he would be there that afternoon, but again just got a voicemail. I left him a 3rd message with my contact information, letting him know that i just wanted to make sure we were still on for the inspection. Again no response. When i arrived at our new house he wasn't there. I waited for 40 minutes and he never showed and didn't bother to answer any of my calls or call back. A no call no show in this line of business is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE, especially since homebuyers depend on having a reliable and on time inspection in order to close on their homes. We will never be using HouseMouse again, we will not recommend them to anyone, and are highly dissapointed in their service.
