I recently stayed at the San Carlos during a conference. The experience was wonderful! The staff was highly professional and friendly. They made you feel at home. The hotel is beautiful. It is an operating museum. I actually felt like I was back in time. The room was immaculate and comfortable, well decorated and equipped. The bed and linens were superb. They even put the rubber duck in the bath for you. (LOL) The restaurant has very fine dining and a very courteous staff. The chef is quite good! I had a great stay and would recommend it to others traveling to Phoenix. As for the ghosts? Who knows........By the way, the gift shop has some great deals!
