Very nice. 1/10/2006

Hotel Baker is a wonderful hotel. They have a gorgeous room for weddings, and the prices are reasonable. The food isn't wonderful, but it is decent enough. What I love about the place is the rooms. They are a bit pricey, but they are gorgeous, with giant marble baths and antiques. For a little extra money, they have rooms on the top floor with tiny screened in porches, two of which have a lovely view of the river. Very nice. more

I absolyutely loved Hotel Baker. Located in Saint Charles, it is a really cozy place with great service and nice restaurants all around. Personelle is very helpful and extremely polite. Parking is also good - you don't spend years looking for a spot. I'll go back there any day!!! more

Great for a wedding & beautiful rooms 8/6/2005

This hotel is amazing. After a bout with bankruptcy and a 2 year hiatus, it is back! The Rainbow room makes for a memorable wedding reception. Its glowing floor and unique oval, 2 level shape adds to the ambiance. It is truly heads above any banquet hall in the area. The rooms are furnished with antiques and marble baths. High quality linens and drapery makes each room spectacular. They are costly, however. It is easily one of the nicest hotels in the area. more
