Hot Seat Sports Bar

I have been to this bar countless times simply because there is little to do in Tualatin and every time I have not enjoyed myself. The service is terrible, the ""bar food"" is expensive, they won't serve a lot of drinks after MIDNIGHT, the music is bad and there are constantly bar fights. You can never get in at karaoke or a pool table, can't hear the tv (and it's supposed to be a sports bar). They close down the bar around 1-1:30am usually so if you're looking for a longer night, find another place to go. more

Used to be a fun place to go.Now it is a bunch of hoodlums and the staff is slow and rude. more

The bartenders are very personable and accommodating. The waitress' only talk to you to get your drink refills. If there is a game on you can watch it on multiple screens. If there is no game on then the filler entertainment is embarrassing and obnoxious. Pros: If there's a game on it's a great place. Cons: If not, not worth your time. more

Love this place, the DJ's are great. The people are a lot of fun. The bar staff is on top of their game and the food is great. I love the split level floor plan...the dance floor...everything! I love this bar :) its fun to watch the games there and do kareoke of course. Their food is okay but for the most part its a cool set up. more

I had been to this place 3 times (always the optimist), before I vowed not to return. The first time we went was with a large crowd for my friend's 30th birthday. We all got inside and the birthday girl and her boyfriend were last in line to get in. They cut the line off at my friend and said they were 'at capacity'. Needless to say, we all left. It seems to me that the guy (UODuckfans) that wrote the bad review about the Hot Seat Sports bar is just bitter because he and his wedding party showed up too drunk. He apparently does not know anything about Oregon law, as the Hot Seat was just obeying the law. In Oregon you are not allowed to drink at any public place without your ID on your person - even if you are 80 years old! Also, if a customer is intoxicated, or has had too drinks elsewhere, it is against the law to continue serving that person, even if that person has a limo to drive them. It appears to me that the door people were actually doing their job. I love the Hot Seat and have always had a great time! The service is always very friendly and the drinks and food are very affordable and very good! Pros: Lots of new TV's, and great food. more

We first checked this place out a few days ago during the afternoon. We wanted to make sure they'd have music Saturday night and wouldn't have a problem with a large group for our 'after wedding reception' party. The wait staff seemed very nice and we were told they'd be more than happy to accomodate our large crowd. We got as far as the door last night and were told they wouldn't let us in. They thought we'd already been out partying - well, duh, we just came from a wedding reception, however no one had much to drink at all!! We hadn't been to any other clubs, no one was obnoxious, some of the party was already in and holding some seats. Anyway, the door man is incredibly rude!! I think he really hates his job and is angry he's not having a good time with everyone else. If we were treated so badly at the door, I can only imagine what kind of attitudes are behind the bar! If you still plan on trying out this place, make sure you have 2 pieces of ID and only plan on drinking 1 drink or they might kick you out when you least expect it... and be ready to encounter a disgusting attitude when you arrive at the door. Hopefully Wichita Pub will open back up soon so there will be an alternative place to go! Pros: Great place for anyone trying to NOT drink and NOT have a good time. I have to say I just discovered this place, and wow. Kereoke with a great sound system, realitic drink prices. Lit just enough to not get sassy. A magician who is so good he belongs in hollywood on television. the wait staff is sometimes sharp attitude wise, but the sevcice is incredible. The food is done very well also.
