Based on the 'season opener' of 'Kitchen Nightmares', I hope that this cafe is still thriving well when I come to visit Philly this summer. I have a friend that lives in Philly and I'll be contacting her soon to go 'check you guys out'. I am somewhat a fan of this show, and as a new hobby, I like to visit the restaurants that have been featured whenever I vacation in an area where one of these restaurants happens to be located. So far, I've been to 3 of them in the past two years. I can hardly wait to try your cafe!!! more

    Stylish, trendy or crowded it is not. Easy, friendly and appealing to neighbors it is. While it's unclear what décor the owners are going for (walls are accented with modern artwork but floors are crammed with standard-issue tables and chairs) it is clear they can adeptly cook patrons' favorites of Buffalo Chicken Dip and Butter Cake. This distraction-free café is a solid option for locals catching up with an old friend but not necessarily lively or romantic enough for a first date. Prices, however, are lower than in similar restaurants in more central locations.
