I'm trying to get in contact with Christina Grigson. I know she worked at The Pamper Stop a year or so ago, but when I called I was under the impression she doesn't work there anymore. Please help!! more

Sometimes the picture in an individual's mind from a magazine, a movie, or the runway, is deceiving. What I appreciate about Christina is that when I walked into her salon and had this grand plan of what i wanted to do with my hair, she has this look on her face and you just know that it is not a style that would look good on me. I have had so many compliments on my hair and it's style since I became a client of Christina's. I would highly recommend her as an honest stylist. more

You know how you walk in to a new salon and spill your guts about your style, what you want, how you like your hair, etc?? You hope the stylist is really understanding what your communicating to them, and that the outcome is what you like?? Well, Christina is definitely one of those that truly listens and tailors your services to precisely what you express! In addition to style, I have a particular hair issue that I'm very sensitive to--Christina always offers suggestions and solutions that work and make me less insecure about it. I have to say, my teenagers went to Christina Grigson first and very pleased. I was going to Devine Design and not very happy. I tried Christina just the other day and got exactly what I asked for. I've been getting many compliments since going to Christina. I already have another appointment scheduled. more

I found Christina Grigson at Hot Locks almost by accident, after having some mediocre experiences with color and cuts at other salons all over Tampa. Trust me when I say I'm picky, and Christina knows her stuff! I have some unusual requests for hair color, and she always gives me exactly what I'm looking for...even lets me know when what I'm looking for won't look good. I totally trust her judgement about color, cut and style. How refreshing to find someone who is great at all of those things! After I see Christina, I get more compliments on my hair than I have in my entire life. The salon is a welcoming place, and everyone there is really nice...I recommend Christina G. and Hot Locks very highly! more

I have been seeing Christina Grigson for the past year or so. Every time I go, I get something different and always have a TON of compliments. She listens to what colors I want and I let her take over. She knows what she is doing and she is extraordinarly talented! This last time I wanted Black, red, and platinum and she used her better judgement and steered me away from black. (thank goodness) She knows what colors and cuts will match your skin tone and face shape. I will ONLY goto this salon. The rest of the staff here are amazing and friendly and always make you feel welcome. I would def. recommend Christina to anyone and everyone that wants an amazing cut and color! more

I've been having my hair cut and colored by Christina Grigson at Hot Locks for almost a year now and I have loved it every single time! She is very attentive to my description of how I want it done and is very careful not to do anything extreme unless I ask for it. I usually get highlights and layers, and everytime I leave feeling beautiful. She always gives me some business cards when I leave and by the end of the day they are always all gone because so many people have complemented me on my hair and asked for the name of my stylist. I highly recommend giving her a try! more

This salon is BY FAR the best! The staff is very professional and friendly! I went with the owner Khristy which I LOVE, but would have NO problem using any one of the stylist there. I wasn't even sure how I wanted my hair but Khristy took over and I came out looking like a million dollars. PERFECT! If you have had a bad experience like I?ve had at other salons, you MUST try Hot Locks. You can?t go wrong there! more

New manager, great owner Kristy and stylist, Amy. They had some not so great stylists and now they are gone. They are concentrating on professional stylists that have the abiility to do great hair. Kristy is awesome as an owner, and Amy is great also. If you had a bad experience before, go again!! You won't be disappointed!! Pros: Best customer service, attention to detail, friendly more

A nice salon.....had raving reviews about the owner...who I am sure is GREAT...she was booked and I went with another stylist.....not happy at all with the color or the cut....very unhappy. She didn't try her best....if you are paying good money for a salon...you should get a great cut & color.....looks like I went to Fantastic Sams....unfortunately....will not be back.... Christy does such a great job with my hair, people think it looks great even when I need it done! Michelle is the best nail tech ever! My daughter loves to head there when in town. My hair is all over foiled with 2 colors, red-violet and blonde...the only reason I did not go back to my original colorist is because she became sloppy the last two times I visited. Hot Locks came recommended so I thought I would try it. First off , the stylist Amy did not listen to my request for keeping the pattern and color ratio the same. I was predominantly blonde and walked out predominantly red. But, that's not the big problem...the blonde came out very brassy and almost mustart like in some areas. I had told her a couple of times I had wanted to keep the same shade of blonde but she disagreed with me. Then they are supposed to be good at razor cuts...this is one of the blotchest cuts I have ever had and does not lay right at all. I thought it may have been just me but when my friends and co-workers saw it today, they have gone on and on about how bad the color and cut is. If you have trendy hair, I would not, would not recommend this place. I refuse to even go back to have them correct it for fear of what I may walk out with; so, I am having to make an apt and pay more to go back to my original colorist and take time out of my work schedule to do it. It's so hard to find a good hair stylist these days. Well look no more Hot Locks has the best Jamie. The atmosphere is so friendly, warm and comfortable.
