Good dogs 4/16/2006

This place has been around a long, long time. There's a reason why there's frequently a line at the door for a seat...it's the dogs. They're very, very cheap and quite tasty. They also have great fries. It's a good place to sit with some friends and order a mess of food. Did I mention it was cheap? You can stuff your face for only a couple of dollars. Do yourself a favor and try it! more

I used to love going to the Hot Dog Shoppe and really thought they had great fries. However, the owner recently spouted off in the local newspaper about unions. Where did she think all of her business came from since the major employers in the area were all union shops?? My days of eating hot dogs at this place are long gone, she won't be getting another dime from me! I am sure other union workers feel the same. more

Best place for hot dogs & fries 12/5/2005

I simply love the Hot Dog Shoppe. I've never been to any other city that has hot dogs and fries as good as the Hot Dog Shoppe. The food is sooo cheap that I am able to get something to eat any day no matter how broke I am that week. Odd enough I don't eat hot dogs any other way, I won't eat them if anyone makes them. If they're not from the Hot Dog Shoppe, I simply won't eat them. more

This place is soooooo good! 11/9/2005

The Hot Dog Shoppe has been around since before I was around and I love it! My parents used to take us there for a treat every once and a while. Their chili sauce is blue ribbon! And topped on one of their all beef hot dogs cannot be beat! There old fashioned hand cut fries with chili and cheese or just plain are superb. They have hand made shakes and a number of other delicious items on the menu. You can sit down in their diner inspired dining room or up at the counter on a stool. Or you can order take out....any way you eat it or get it....you will love it! more

the hot dog shoppe is an institution in warren.....the prices are a throwback to the 1950's.....a hot dog is just 75 cents....yes, u read that right!!!! U might have to wait for a table but it is well worth the wait!!! The service is quick and friendly....try it, you'll like it!!! more

The filet Mignon of Hot Dogs 10/12/2005

I don't know how they do it but their hot dogs are like no other! When family that has moved away comes into town the first place they want to go is the Hot Dog Shoppe. Friends who just moved here couldn't figure out what the big deal was-- after all its just a hot dog they said. That was bfore they tried it-- it's now one of their favorite places too. more
