Hospice of Acadiana is the first and oldest Hospice in the area. They are the only Hospice that is non profit. Hospice of Acadiana is concerned only with the care on comfort of the patients. They offer programs for families to help with the grieving process. They care for terminal patients in the hospital as well as at home. They take insurance and Medicare and Medicaid. You will never get a bill from Hospice of Acadiana. The staff with Hospice of Acadiana have a special healing and comfort that no other Hospice has. They also have clergy who will help the familiy and patient as they need or want. more
