Hospice & Palliative Care Lincoln County began in 1984 as Hospice of Lincoln County. It is a nonprofit health care provider that is Medicare certified and licensed by the state of North Carolina to deliver hospice services. The center serves more than 300 patients and their families in their homes, its hospice home, and assisted living and long-term care facilities. Hospice & Palliative Care Lincoln County has a team of professionals and nonprofessionals that provide emotional, medical, spiritual and bereavement care services. The center accepts several types of in-kind gifts, such as durable medical equipment, including hospital beds and wheelchairs.
