I'm not sure if the beef in my beef chow mein and beef fried rice was cooked completely. This place is a health hazard. The meat was seriously faulty, so I ended up taking it out and recooking the rest of the food to make sure I didn't catch an amoeba. more

Hot and sensational. 3/2/2008

I'm a certified chef and have worked at a Chinese restaurant before albeit I am an American. I enjoy strong flavors and try and achieve sensational combinations. This is the first time that I've ordered from this Bar and Restaurant, but they have my business for Chinese from now on. The food was hot and I would be way out of their delivery range normally. I picked the fried won tons(which have filling!), oyster beef, crispy ginger chicken, and spicy chicken and vegetables. The cool thing was that I got a free side of shrimp fried rice. The protein was very high quality and perfectly executed, the shrimp were very prevalent, big, fresh, and juicy. The sauces were savory and sweet with wonderfully blended flavors. The fact that it was the same as if I had dined in was a big plus. The clinchers, different from the abundance of fresh produce were the super saver coupons that are attached to the take out menu you get with an order, oh, and they have hot mustard. Go get you some. more

Great food, Fast delivery 9/10/2006

I live just down the street and the delivery is always suprizingly quick. When my friend down in SOMA ordered from them, I was shocked it took only 20 minutes for the food to arrive. Makes you wonder how quick they are in the kitchen! The food is great, egg rolls are a must with any order- and the wonton soup is just what you need on a cold SF night. The prawns with walnuts come in this amazingly sweet sauce, which is to die for. Any place that is consistantly good, cheap, and fast to deliver is a keeper in my book. Also, don't forget to ask for NO MSG- that stuff will keep you up all night, I tell ya! Be sure to try the Lichee dessert- it's a unique fruit worth a try, yum yum. Pros: Fast Delivery, Nice delivery guys and great food Cons: MSG unless you ask for it without, coupons are only good for $10 orders or more, actual location not the best to eat at. more

Fastest, greatest delivery in SF 5/24/2006

I have never eaten at their actual location, but they were the only Chinese food place that would deliver to the SF State area, all the way from Van Ness! And they were STILL fast. I now live closer to them and get food anywhere from 15-25 minutes. Great food, great value, fast service. Best value in SF Pros: Good food, Fast delivery, cheap! Cons: ...? more

Good food, best delivery in town 6/2/2003

FAST and always reliable. Most places in SF that deliver are terrible at it. Ho's always gets it to me quick and hot pretty much anywhere in central SF. Great job. more

Worst service ever!!! 11/30/2002

I was amazed at how bad the service was here. I had a coupon for a free order of egg rolls and they would not honor the coupon. The manager was very disrespectful and rude. Having soo many chinese restaurants in San Francisco this one is definately not worth your time. more
