Horning & Sons Home Inspection serves the needs of real estate buyers and sellers in Delware County, Indiana and surrounding areas. Founded in April of 2003, Horning & Sons has been providing the area with professional home and property inspection services for more than five years. No stranger to honest, hard work - George Horning began his career working for Indiana Bridge as a welder from 1963 - 1964. In June of '64, he became a member of the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, serving from 1964 to 1967 in the Brown Water Navy. He is a Vietnam Veteran. After leaving the Navy, George started what would evolve into an incredibly successful professional career; first as an independent contractor. During his time as a contractor, he worked on many important projects. In fact, many a Hoosier has been in contact with his work and likely not even known it! (Anyone who's ever been inside of a Pizza King restaurant, for instance - George was in charge of the late 70's remodel.) Throughout the following decades, George would gain contracts with clients such as UPS, Knapp Supply, KJ Machine & more. More evidence of of his work can be seen at the corner of Tillotson and HWY 32 - Timber's lounge. Over the years, he's also served the Muncie Fire Department in many ways. Not only has he been fireman; but also a Sergeant, Lieutenant & valued instructor for Muncie & Middletown. The local community has always been a primary focus for George and that continues to this day. George has been extensively educated in many areas, gaining certifications ranging from the medical/safety field to a complete set of certifications for home inspections.Click here for more information about his home inspection training.
