My son hated school and did not want to attend....We tried to help him while he attended an APS school and had numerous conferences with the administration and teachers and also tutored him ourselves. But it was not the academics that was hampering him,it was the environment. I am a proponent of public school but they were failing my son. Since I had no control over his environment, we decided to try a private school. He scored 64% on their entrance exam, but they gave him a chance. ONE YEAR later, he loves school and loves to learn. He looks forward every day to attending school and cannot wait to get back to class after the summer. What a difference! We are very involved in community activities and he has many friends in the neighborhood. When they study together, it is so obvious how much more advanced my son is in what he has learned. I thank God that he led us to Hope everyday. It is evident in my son's attitude...what a difference! The academics are great but what is even greate
